OHMPAA - Community Theater in the Hills

OHMPAA's 2025 Season

Songs for a New World

Music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown

February 28-March 9 | Deering Memorial Community Center | South Paris

It’s about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice... or take a stand... or turn around and go back. This moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make. We meet a startling array of characters — from a young man who has determined that basketball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams... and a soulless marriage. To benefit the Deering Memorial Community Center. Directed by Zack Balkcom.

Boeing Boeing

by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans

June 19-29 | Norway Grange

This 1960s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” — until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time. Directed by Lenore Grunko.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood

A musical by Rupert Holmes

November 13-23 | Norway Grange

Based on Charles Dickens’ final unfinished novel, this hilarious whodunit invites the audience to solve its mystery by choosing the identity of the murderer. The tale is presented as a show-within-a-show, as the Music Hall Royale -- a delightfully loony Victorian theatre company -- presents Dickens’ brooding mystery Directed by Kristen Searles Brackett.
